Sliding and patio doors that glide, seal and lock tight

Sliding and patio doors that open the house to the yard and close it tight when a storm comes through, with impact glass available.

Rollers, tracks and the slider that stopped sealing

A slider gets used more than almost any other door in a Palm Beach County house. Sand and pool grit pack into the track, the rollers flatten, and a panel that used to glide starts to stick, jump or drag across the sill. The seals go next, and a door that no longer locks tight is a door you stop trusting.

Humidity and salt air work on the hardware too. When the lock only catches if you lift and shove, or daylight shows along the meeting edge of the panels, another round of lubricant is rarely the answer. The honest fix is a new unit on a track that is set right.

Sliding panels, patio doors and impact glass

Strictly Doors supplies sliding panels and patio doors for the opening that joins the house to the pool deck, the lanai or the yard. Impact glass is available when that opening has to face a storm as well as a view, and it is worth raising early because it changes what you order.

The showroom at 4365 Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach has frames and glass to look at in person. Or call (561) 414-2089 and describe the opening. No in-home estimate is required, and a free quote comes back within 24 hours.

Level track, free-running panels, a sealed opening

A slider only glides if the track under it is dead level, so that is where the install starts. The crew sets the threshold, hangs the panels, and adjusts the rollers until each panel runs freely and the lock engages without a shove. Then the opening is sealed and trimmed, inside and out.

Every install is done in-house by our own crew and never subcontracted, and it carries a 1-year labor warranty. No crew from another company ever turns up at your house.

The opening, written up as a schedule line

Sliders are often the widest opening in the house, so the line reads wider than a front door. Planning a new front entry or a pair of French doors for the same house? Put them on the same call and we will schedule each opening on its own line.
