Finish, edge and hardware where the traffic is
A veneer door fails at its edges and its hardware long before its face wears out. Corridors with beds, carts and furniture on the move chip edges and scuff the lower rail, which is why you see wall guards in our corridor photo. We talk through edge protection and finish durability with the building owner before the order goes in, not after the first scratch.
Hardware is the other half of the story. Hinges, closers and locksets have to match the schedule and the weight of the slab, and the door has to close and latch the same way on its first day and its thousandth. Our crew hangs the door, sets the closer and tests the latch before they leave. All installs are done in-house, never subcontracted, with a 1-year labor warranty.
